Dr. Gregory Lee has been director of Andrology Laboratory since July 1981. He is professor of Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of British Columbia. He received his Ph.D. degree in 1972 from California Institute of Technology. His main research interests are 1) Research and development of one step immunoassay technology; 2) Research and development of new methods for clinical detection of human papillomas virus; 3) Research and development of immunodiagnostic applications of monoclonal antibodies, especially for quick detection of cancers, myocardinal infarction or infectious diseases and 4) Studies of cholesterol inhibition of progesterone-induces acrosome reaction of human sperm. He has published more than 160 peer-viewed papers in various scientific journals.
